It is a terrible thread.. The new quilting thread (made in Japan) is weak and shreds in the needle. I am part of a hand quiting group called Dorcas and it has been the thread we preferred over the last number of years, but can no longer use it.

While I haven't had an opportunity to try this color yet, every YLI that I have used has been great. I did unwrap it to match it to a quilt top, and it will work well.

This thread is perfect for hand quilting. I don't have to wax it and it doesn't knot easily. I've been quilting with YLI thread for years and I recommend it to other quilters.

This is my favorite hand quilting thread. I belong to a quilt group that only hand quilts our quilt tops. Over the last ten years I have tried different brands of hand quilting thread, and YLI is the best that I have used, hands down. I mostly use the white, black, and natural. I recently purchased some other colors for some projects that I'm working on at home. I'm so grateful that Red Rock Thread carries the YLI brand.
