GlaMore™ is 2-ply rayon twisted with a single strand of metallic. That construction is the whole point — you get the shimmer of a metallic without the brittleness, because the rayon carries the load and the metallic just catches the light.

At 12wt it's fine enough to pass through a machine needle but heavy enough that the stitch reads as decoration rather than construction. It also behaves well in serger loopers and in the bobbin for bobbin work, which is where a lot of people end up using it.

The Play Time pack is a deliberately mismatched set — white and black-multicolor bookending a warm coral, a deep brown and a teal, built for projects that don't want to be tasteful.
