Warm & Natural is needle-punched cotton batting made from an unusually selective raw material. Only about 15% of cotton grown in the USA has the right length, thickness, and color, and only 5% of that is clean enough to become Warm & Natural. The cotton is never washed or bleached with harsh chemicals — it goes through a mechanical cleaning process that removes seeds, seed coats, and most leaf and stem remnants.

The scrim is what allows that 10in spacing, and it is the reason a Warm & Natural quilt survives washing after washing without the batting breaking up inside.
