Insul-Bright is what makes pot holders, oven mitts, and casserole covers actually functional. Hollow polyester fibers are needlepunched through a nonwoven substrate and a reflective metalized poly film — the hollow fibers resist conduction while the film reflects radiant energy back toward its source, hot or cold.
