Organ Ballpoint Needles are engineered for knit fabrics. The rounded ballpoint tip pushes knit fibers aside rather than piercing them, preventing the small holes and runs that can appear when embroidering stretchy materials. Replace these needles after 5-6 hours of actual stitching time.

Standard Eye: Compatible with 40 weight or lighter polyester embroidery thread, as well as 40 weight or lighter sewing or quilting thread (cotton or polyester). Not recommended for metallics.

Size 80/12: A versatile size appropriate for medium weight knit fabrics.

Ballpoint Tip: The rounded tip slides between fibers instead of cutting through them, preserving the integrity of knit construction.

Flat Shank: Designed for home embroidery machines with a flat-sided shank for proper needle orientation.

Recommended Fabrics: Medium weight knits including interlock, jersey, fleece, sweatshirt fabric, and similar materials.
