Poly Sheen is 40wt trilobal polyester, and the trilobal filament is what gives it that high, lasting shine on a dense fill. It's an embroidery thread first, but it earns its keep in decorative stitching, appliqué, thread painting, and quilting where you want the line to show. Colorfast and chlorine-resistant, so finished pieces come out of the wash looking the way they went in.
