The inspiration for this small quilt came from a park overlooking the sea at Jenny’s holiday retreat Toowoon Bay, on the central coast of NSW Australia. As she sat watching the waves roll in, Jenny noticed the beautiful wild creeper called Morning Glory and quickly got out her pad and pencil and sketched these truly glorious flowers. This quilt is a tribute to the flowers and her beloved Toowoon Bay.

The center 32in square is made up of 40 x 4in quilted squares, (quilted in the hoop with built-in stitch cutting lines to finished size), pieced on the diagonal with the Jenny Join covered with 1in wide fabric strips. The narrow and wide borders are quilted in your preferred way and then cut to finished size.

Wide borders plaid finished size: two 3 1/2in x 25in, two 3 1/2in x 32in strips
