Well now you can with the Clever & Crafty design CD’s which are a series of quick, easy and inexpensive project ideas for the home using embroidery designs to enhance and change items that you would usually discard.

The aim of the Clever & Crafty series is demonstrate how easy it is to turn ‘trash to treasure’ by recycling, decorating and enhancing items you usually have in the home or can pick up cheaply at an ‘Op Shop’.

For example the fruit juice I drink comes in an ordinary glass bottle, which I always put in the recycle trash/bin – well now it is a treasured ornament on my Shabby Chic table and mirror. A multiple blank CD case (which we have trashed by the hundreds over the years) is transformed into a stunning cup cake or individual birthday cake holder. A wire trash/waste paper basket (which cost $3.00 at a ‘cheap’ shop) is turned into a pretty decorative cloche. Discarded small rusty tin tart cases turned into decorative candle holders and an old light base and shade recycled into a stunning fashionable Shabby Chic lamp for the bedroom. The list is endless so let’s start with what you need.

Everything that you see on this series of CD’s has been sourced from our ‘stash’, recycled bottles, discarded items from the home and office or cheap items purchased at garage sales or ‘Op Shops’.
