I use this silk thread for most everything! It is strong and durable. Primarily I purchase it for use on boucle jackets with silk lining. Love that it is available in so many colors!

The shipment finally arrived a day after your question how do I like Gutermann. I've used this thread for at least 10 or more years when I worked in a theatrical costume shop and loved how it slides though fabric brilliantly. I use it now in my retirement for quilting.
