How It Works

Place Iron-Away Clear Topper on the top surface of your fabric before embroidering. It acts as a spacer between the thread and the fabric pile, keeping your stitches raised and clearly defined. After stitching, simply press with an iron to remove the excess topper from around your design. The portion trapped beneath the embroidery thread stays in place permanently, preventing the fabric nap from poking through your stitches — even after multiple wash and dry cycles.

Ideal For

Burlap, cuddle fabric, fleece, low-pile faux fur, terry cloth, towels, velvet, and other textured materials. Also excellent for keeping decorative satin stitches raised when sewing.

Tips

• Always use on top of your fabric in the hoop — this is a topper, not a backing.
