Hi-Loft Dimensional Topping

Add stunning 3D texture to your embroidery with Hi-Loft Dimensional Topping—a unique, fibrous, and completely water-soluble stabilizer that lifts satin stitches for a bold, “puffy” effect. This fleece-like topping works beautifully with logos, satin borders, appliqués, lace, and more. No changes to your design or fonts are needed—just place and stitch!

How to Use Hi-Loft Dimensional Topping:

1. Hoop your stabilizer and project as usual.
2. Use any embroidery needle suitable for your design—no special needle required.
3. Place a piece of Hi-Loft over the area to be puffed.
   • Tip: Use RNK Stitch Perfection Tape or Quilters Select Fabric Glue on the corners to hold it in place.
4. Stitch your design as normal.
5. Remove the project from the hoop and trim away excess topping.
6. Rinse with lukewarm water and rub gently to remove any remaining material.

For Free-Standing Lace:

1. Hoop one or two layers of Floriani Wet N Gone® stabilizer.
2. Follow steps 2–6 above.

Helpful Tip: Save your trimmed pieces! You can reuse them by joining with Floriani Wet N Gone Tacky® Tape.
