Color Builder is Aurifil's tonal study in three spools: a light, a medium and a deep shade of one colour, chosen to shade and blend rather than contrast. Tuscany Orange is named for Tuscany.

The three-value structure makes these particularly useful for gradient quilting, thread painting, and any work where you want depth inside a single hue.
