Red Rock Threads began in 2001 with Stacy McDougall’s idea that makers deserved better access to the threads and supplies they love. She first started by selling on eBay, and in 2003 we launched redrockthreads.com. What began as a small side project has grown into a trusted online shop serving stitchers across the country.

We’re family-owned, not a big-box store. That means every order is packed with the same care we’d give if we were sending it to a friend. With over 4.8 stars from thousands of customer reviews, we’re proud that attention to detail shines through.

For more than two decades we’ve been helping quilters, embroiderers, and sewists find the right threads, stabilizers, and notions to keep their projects moving. A lot has changed since those early EBay days, but one thing hasn’t: Red Rock Threads is still here, still family-owned, and still dedicated to stitchers — one order at a time.
