The Basic Range series of rulers from Creative Grids are easy to see and read. By eliminating the 1/8 inch markings and the Turn a Round feature over half of the markings are removed. The remaining 1/4, 1/2 & 1 inch markings are printed with a 1 in grid.
Without the Turn a Round feature a 6x12 ruler truly measures 6x12 inches, not 6-1/2 x 12-1/2 inches. They are printed so they read correctly for left handers too! This 6 x 12 inch rectangle features easy to read black numbers printed on white squares.
Since 1/2 inch cuts are the most frequently used, these black and white dashed lines are prominent and are visible on light AND dark fabrics. Use the 45 degree angle to square up half-square triangles in whole and half inch increments.
